Yarn and Lead…the saga beings
Yarn: Hi! Let me start by saying we are so glad you are here! We are a married couple discussing topics and interests we love. I’m the yarn in the relationship so I will mostly be discussing topics such as yarn (go figure), crafting, creating, books, writing, poetry, painting, crochet, sewing, felting, and possibly cooking (we will see….lol). Now that we have established who the yarn is, let me go on by telling you a little about myself. I’m a fiber loving nerd who enjoys any and all crafting, reading, writing, poetry, music, etc. I’m a banker by day, crafter by night, and always a wifey to my wonderful hubs. I own a small business (you will learn more about that later) filled with crochet items and sewing projects. I’m also a cat mom times TWO! No…not the crazy cat lady (could be crazy CRAFT lady…HA!) despite having more than one at the same time. We love our kitties and yes, they are our “fur babies” (cringe).
Our eldest, Sophia, is a Black English Bombay with the most beautiful, piercing green eyes. She will be 10 this year and is still feisty as ever! Our second baby, Calypso, is a beautiful Calico mix with gorgeous yellow eyes. I call her my Fall Kitty because Fall is my favorite, and her coloring resembles the colors of Fall (duh…). She just turned 4 this year and is extremely spunky and cuddly. Lastly, I’m a gamer (say WHAT?!?!)! Yep. Ya heard me. My “go to’s” are Skyrim, Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed, Horizon, Red Dead Redemption, Uncharted, Resident Evil (although I’m a big scaredy cat), and such like. Ok… I’m done with me. Now, on to the Lead…..
Lead: As my wife stated, we will be writing about things we both love and are interested in. While she will be talking about yarn and crafty things, I will be talking about firearms, knives, outdoorsy things, and topics of such nature. I love the outdoors, in fact, my wife and I BOTH love the outdoors. Yes, we are BOTH nerds (as my wife has stated already). We love Star Wars, Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Vikings (and anything related to Viking things), not to mention gaming. As you can see, there will be many topics talked about in our blog, so buckle up. While we both are cat people (yes, I’m a cat dad), as you can see from our two rascals, we are dog people as well. We do not currently own a dog, but we hope to one day soon. Our dream dog is a Wolf/Dog hybrid, but an English Bulldog, German Shepherd, or Cane Corso are acceptable as well. We are both Christians, Saved by Grace through Faith and will also post things the Lord has shown us through His Word, and hope it will be an encouragement to you. We will not push our beliefs down your throat and condemn you if you don’t believe what we do, but we will try to give encouragement and hopefully a blessing or two to our readers.
